Fred Valentine Lifetime Achievement Award
The MLBPAA is proud to announce Kirk Gibson as the recipient of our third annual Fred Valentine Lifetime Achievement Award.
This award honors the legacy of Fred Valentine, a founding member of the MLBPAA who embodied integrity, service in the community, and passion towards serving others. Each year, we celebrate his memory by recognizing an Alumni member who carries those same values forward. Through Kirk’s impact in the community and the creation of the Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinson’s, we are proud to have celebrated him on Wednesday, June 25th, during our Alumni Day at Comerica Park!

Legends for Youth Clinics
It is our mission to provide a fun, positive baseball experience. We achieve this through our free Legends for Youth Clinic Series held worldwide. Recently, we hosted a clinic in Grayslake, IL.

June 29th, 2012 - Aaron Hill hits for the cycle for the second time in two weeks as the Diamondbacks beat the Brewers, 9 – 3. The last player to collect two cycles in a season was Babe Herman in 1931.
